The International GT Open is ready for a grand 2026 season’s finale. The official proceedings started today with the two free practice sessions, held in perfect weather and track conditions, with 33 cars in action.
Competition is close, with the 19 first cars in the combined rankings covered by one second, and the McLarens were particularly quick, with four 720S in the top six.
Fastest car of the day was the Greystone GT McLaren #44 of McKenzy Cresswell and debuting Callum Davies. They stopped the clock in 1.40.882 in session one, the fastest for most contenders, beating the Trackfocused sister car of the Kell family by 0.076, which topped session two.
Mikkel and Lars Pedersen were excellent third (+0s121) in the Pedersen Porsche, with the AF Corse Ferrari of Tommaso Mosca-Rafael Durán in fourth (+0s197).

Two other McLarens were fifth- and sixth-fastest, with the debuting SMC car of Alexander Geppert-Ben Dörr (+0s224) and the Graystone GT car of Zac Meakin-James Macdonald (+0s289), the main challenger in the title fight.
Championship leaders Tom Emson and Tom Lebbon (Elite Motorsport Ferrari) were 15th, while the top car in Am was the Olimp Racing Ferrari of Stanislaw Jedlinski-Krystian Korzeniowski. The Poles were also the top car in the Bronze session.
To be noted that at Olimp Racing, Marcin Jedlinski and Karol Basz switched to old Audi R8 LMS, following the discovery of a crack in the chassis of their Ferrari 296.
