Another faithful team that will not miss the 2026 International GT Open is Baron Motorsport, the Austrian team led by Philipp Baron which has been competing with Ferraris on the international GT scene for many years.
The squad will obviously field a Ferrari 296 GT3 in the Am class for a Polish father-and-son pair that does need much presentation in GT Sport series: Andrzej and Adrian Lewandowski.
Andrzej, the ‘senior’ (56 year-old) has an extensive and successful career, having been three times an Am champion in the Lamborghini SuperTrofeo Europe, on top of being a Pro-Am winner in the 2019 World Finals. He also took a silver medal in GT in the FIA Games that same year and was an Am Champion in the GT Cup Europe in 2018. He last raced in the GT Open in 2023.
Less experienced, Adrian, the ‘junior’ (31) has been often sharing the wheel with his father and was 3rd in Am in the Lamborghini SuperTrofeo in 2024.
