Target Racing back in the GT Open at Misano with a Ferrari for Huilin Han

The International GT Open is gearing up for the third round of the season and for a special moment : its first visit to the Misano World Circuit ‘Marco Simoncelli’, the track next to the Adriatic Sea which is an absolute novelty in the series’ calendar.

The event is attracting new entries, and one of these will be Target Racing, the acclaimed Italian GT squad based close to Misano, in Lugo, and led by Roberto Venieri. The team’s history spans a few decades, as it was originally founded in 1997 to compete in single-seater formulae, jointly with BVM, today’s one of the main forces in the Euroformula Open. Since 2017, Target is mainly active in GT racing, under various denominations, including Raton Racing by Target, which competed in the GT Open in 2018-19.

At Misano, Target will enter a Ferrari 296 GT3 in the Am class for Chinese driver Huilin Han (42), who has been a top contender in the Am category in the Italian GT in recent years (vice champion in 2025), and has also extended experience in Lambo, Porsche and Ferrari mono-brand trophies.
