Tom Lebbon (Elite Motorsport, 2.01.554) is in pole for the third time this season ahead of Ferrari (AF Corse) in an all-Ferrari first row, Fontana and Götz.
The qualifying session’s end was disturbed by a complete electrical blackout in the whole region. Initially the best lap time was attributed to Axcil Jefferies (Into Africa by Dragon Ferrari, 2.01.530), but it was later dismissed for track limits once all incidents could be reviewed electronically. The Zimbabwean dropped to tenth.
Of the cars involved in Saturday’s multiple collision at first corner, only the #26 Saintéloc Racing Audi could not be repaired and had to withdraw from its home event.
