After a frustrating retirement on Saturday, Tom Emson and Tom Lebbon took their revenge on Sunday, netting another pole and their third success of the season in Race 2 at the Hungaroring, in front of a large crowd as customary. The pair of the yellow Elite Motorsport Ferrari leaves Hungary maintaining the lead in the overall standings with a 13-point margin.
Zac Meakin and Dean , in the Greystone GT McLaren finished second for the third time in the last four races, while Rafael Durán and Tommaso Mosca, in the AF Corse Ferrari, took their maiden podium finish of the season.

There were noisy celebrations for the Pro-Am winners, as an enthusiastic fan group came from neighbouring Czechia to cheer for Libor Milota and Filip Salaquarda. After finishing second yesterday, the ISR Racing pair took the Audi to a resounding victory, beating Dexter Müller-Yannick Mettler (CBRX by SPS Mercedes) and Marcin Jedlinski-Karol Basz (Olimp Racing Ferrari).

THE RACE – At the start, Emson keeps the advantage of the pole ahead of Baumann, Salaquarda, Meakin, Mettler, Mansell and Mosca (same order as on the grid), with Neubauer taking eighth from Moncini in lap 1, and Dybionka in tenth. At the back, James Kell has started from the pits while Acosta spins but rejoins. Itvis Karol Basz putting the show in the initial phases, as he climbs up and fiercely fights with Moncini first, and then with Neubauer, exchanging positions a couple of tie with the Frenchman.
Position and gaps do not change much with the first seven covered by nine second, while Korzeniowski (driving alone in the Olimp Ferrari as S.Jedlinski felt unwell) leads in Am ahead of Mazur.
After all changes, Lebbon leads with 1.3 seconds on Macdonald, 15 on Durán, then Müller, Milota, Götz, Veselaho, Testa and M.Jedlinski. In Am, Korzeniowski is ahead of Mazur and Zsigo. With such close gaps, the fight is intense, but there the only changes, like yesterday, will be in the Pro-Am class as Milota passes Müller for the win, with M.Jedlinski finishing third.
The race ended with a red flag ahead of the final lap as Magdiarz spun the GoodSpeed Aston Martin at the exit of the last corner hitting the pit lane wall, luckily with no damage for the driver.
