AF Corse to be present in all classes, with five Ferrari 296 GT3 EVOs

It may sound redundant to say: there can’t be a GT Open season without AF Corse. The Italian team,  synonymous with Ferrari and ubiquitous in GT and sportscar racing around the world, has been a driving force in the series since its inception, collecting numerous titles and successes, either directly or through its supported teams.

In 2026 again, AF Corse will enter five Ferrari 296 GT3s, all EVO, full-season. Driver line-ups have been confirmed today.

In the Pro class, there will be two cars: defending champion and Ferrari official driver Tommaso Mosca is back, associated with young Spaniard Rafael Durán in car #51, while young Ukrainian Yaroslav Veselaho will make his debut alongside GT star Thomas Neubauer, also a Ferrari official driver, in car #96. In two rounds, when taken by other commitments, the Frenchman will be substituted by his Ferrari official driver colleague, Le Mans 24 Hour winner and former Euroformula champion Yifei Ye

Two cars will be fielded also in the Pro-Am class, for the returning pair of car #55, Laurent de Meeus and Vincent Abril, while in car  #81, Japanese Ferrari Challenge specialist Norikazu Shibata will make his debut paired with 2023 GT Open champion Charlie Fagg.

The fifth car will defend the Am title conquered last year by Forgione-Rugolo. It will sport the colours of Blue Motorsport and #16, which means that Marcelo Hahn, one of the most familiar figures of the GT Open is back. The Brazilian will aim at adding the Am title to his collection of trophies, associated this time with countryfellow Galid Osman

As usual, additional AF Corse entries may be expected at selected events.
